Room Rates

The Dorchester accepts both private pay and Medicaid residents.

Medicaid residents

--Medicaid covers all charges including room rental utilities (except phone), 3 meals a day and personal care services. All amenities are included.

Private pay residents

--Room rental rates are $1,000/month which includes all utilities (except phone) and three meals a day.

--All amenities are included in this rate

--Additional a la carte services for personal care assistance are available for a minimal charge.

In the event a resident cannot afford the private pay rate of $1,000/month, we will apply for Medicaid for you, allowing you to continue living at The Dorchester without interruption.

The Dorchester is able to offer this low private pay rate of $1,000/month as we are not corporate owned. Our banquet/catering services and community events help subsidize our costs. We are able to pass this savings on to our residents.
